SUNDAY BLUES

Rachel Ruzumna is a 24-year-old singer-songwriter originally from the northern suburbs of Chicago, now making her mark in Los Angeles. Her musical journey began at just five years old with guitar, piano, and voice—tools that would later shape her signature sound. By age 14, she discovered a deep passion for songwriting, and a year later, she debuted her first original song at a high school open mic. That experience sparked a lifelong commitment to using music as a vehicle for self-expression and connection.

In 2022, Rachel took a leap of faith, moving to L.A. to follow her artistic calling—despite family expectations of a more conventional path. Through the ups and downs of this transition, music became her grounding force, helping her process personal challenges and turn them into something meaningful.

Most recently, Rachel became the first artist signed to BAM Artists, a company that shares her core values: prioritizing mental health, community, and authenticity in music. The partnership reflects her belief that music is ultimately about storytelling, vulnerability, and bringing people together. With this new chapter underway, Rachel is more inspired than ever to create music that resonates—and reminds others they’re not alone.
